Sound artist, composer and musician working with live electronics, sound, light and intermedia installations, AV works and recording studio productions as producer, mixer and engineer.

His personal work generates from a diverse range of interests mainly associated with procedures that depict sound and visual forms out of a naturalistic context, while often filtering the outcome with machine-driven techniques. The main ideas gravitate towards field and foley recordings exploitation, acoustic ecology, sound synthesis, audio spatialization and data sonification as composition tools.

Based in Reykjavík since 2017 as studio head engineer, producer and musician at the legendary Greenhouse Studios, has been working on numerous Bedroom Community releases and collaborative projects for screen, stage, live and recorded mediums. He has worked alongside artists including Valgeir Sigurðsson, Ben Frost, Damien Rice, Swans, Dustin O’Halloran, Atli Örvarsson, JFDR, Daniel Pioro, Liam Byrne, Nadia Sirota, Sandro Mussida, 404.zero and many others.

His musical contributions include the scores for Netflix’s ‘DARK’ series and ‘The Old Guard”, “Defending Jacob” Apple TV+ series, ‘The County’, ‘An Acceptable Loss’, ‘Little Moscow’, the theatre plays ‘Woman Undone’, ‘Medea’, ‘Kæra Jelena’, ‘Meistarinn og Margaríta’, the stage artworks ‘SAFE’, ‘Valley’.

His productions and performances feature complex sound design based on concrete & modular recordings, extensive sub-bass frequencies, fragmented harmonies, noise & textures from processed acoustic instruments together visual contents from manipulated macro footage and generative techniques.

He has performed worldwide with different projects in clubs, festivals, galleries, residencies and theatres.
