Francesco Maria Paradiso (I)

He was born in Catania and lives in Milan. He obtained with full marks the II level Academic Diploma in Composition – technological address – at the Milan Conservatory with Giuseppe Giuliano, ‘cum laude’ the Diploma in Composition at the Novara Conservatory with Franco Balliana, the Diploma in Organ and organ composition at the Piacenza Conservatory with Luigi Molfino. He attended the courses for composers and conductors led by Peter Eötvös, Hilversum (NL), in musical analysis and composition by Marek Stachowski at the Krakow Academy of Music (PL), in composition with electronics by Jonathan Harvey, Metz (F), of specialization for compositional production with computer technologies by Giovanni Cospito, Milan (I), of composition and electronic music at the Hochshule für Musik Freiburg (D). Scholarships and composition residencies: Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (ICST) (CH), Studio CCMIX – Center de Crèation Musicale Iannis Xenakis (F), Herrenhaus Edenkoben (D), Government of the Republic of Poland – Krakow Academy of Music (PL). Composer of instrumental and electronic music, he has received numerous awards.
