Margaux Gazur (F)

Margaux Gazur, a young Franco-Vietnamese composer based in Berlin, draws inspiration from musique concrète, experimental jazz, electroacoustic music, and world music. She combines acoustic instruments, synthesizers, field recordings, and everyday objects to create intimate atmospheres in her live sets. She gained recognition as a producer with works like Water on Mars (2019), where she creatively uses field recordings and organic percussion, crafting a warm sound rich in sonic detail.
Her music integrates diverse cultural influences, developed during five years spent in Vietnam. Her compositions often incorporate field recordings made in traditional contexts, such as ceremonies or martial arts practices, and are characterized by a strong connection between sound, space, and movement.
In addition to her career as a DJ and producer, Margaux is actively involved in interdisciplinary collaborations and projects that unite music, visual arts, and live performances.
