The evening featured the eagerly awaited ambient set by Canadian Mathew Jonson, entitled Freedom Engine. The musician has masterfully fused analogue electronics with an engaging melodic and rhythmic aesthetic, while also integrating elements of jazz improvisation. Coming from a traditional musical background, Jonson has a natural aptitude for melody and harmony, which he integrates into his sets, handling electronic instruments in real time and offering the audience a unique experience. Active since the early 2000s, he has become a central figure in the techno and house scene thanks to his style, which combines compositional complexity and emotional immediacy, live improvisation and highly polished production.

Introducing the concert will be the young up-and-comer of the Dutch music scene, Thessa Tosing, stage name upsammy, born in 1996. In her live performances, delicate crystalline melodies combined with complex rhythms, often enhanced by ambient recordings and organic textures, are striking. The connection between synthetic and natural elements is reflected in her DJ sets and albums.
