Exceptional evening with three pioneers of experimental electronic music.

Adam Wiltzie rarely performs in concert. He is known for his work in ambient, drone and neo-classical music, but also as a composer of soundtracks for major film productions. Co-founder of iconic projects such as Stars of the Lid and A Winged Victory for the Sullen. His musical artistry is characterised by the creative use of orchestral instruments, extreme minimalism, with long sustained notes and drones creating an ethereal atmosphere, and a focus on sonic ambience, emotionality and timbral experimentation. Wiltzie’s music is never invasive, but rather invites the listener to lose themselves in the sound, fostering an intimate and personal connection with the piece.

For the first time in Milan, the duo Sunroof (Daniel Miller, founder of Mute Records and Gareth Jones). Their collaboration, which began during Depeche Mode’s recording sessions, has matured through sound experiments and remixes for artists such as Can and Goldfrapp. In 2021, they released Electronic Music Improvisations 1, improvisations with modular synthesisers. This approach aims to capture the essence of the creative moment, with tracks that reflect a balance between electronic tradition and modernity. Their works combine drones, rhythmic sequences and timbral modulations ranging between analogue minimalism and digital experimentation.
